60-Year-Old Male Driver Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident near Sycamore AvenueSTANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (July 26, 2023) – Tuesday night, one man was fatally struck in a rear-end collision on Las Palmas Avenue.Authorities responded to the scene around 6:00 p.m., just east of Sycamore Avenue.Per reports, the driver of a westbound Toyota pickup-truck stopped suddenly for reasons unknown. (KRON) -- Two vehicles were involved in a freeway shooting on westbound Highway 24 near Lafayette Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol confirmed. The shooting occurred around 11 a.m. near Pleasant Hill Road. Naked woman armed with gun on Bay Bridge targeted random victims: CHP One of the vehicles involved in the shooting caused a collision with a separate, uninvolved vehicle. Both vehicles involved in the freeway shooting fled the scene, according to the CHP. The victim in the collision driving the uninvolved vehicle stopped to obtain a collision report.
