CHESTERFIELD, Mo. - Chesterfield Mall will sell a large amount of its assets in a public liquidation sales event this weekend. PCH Mercantile & Auctions will host the liquidation sales from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday (May 6) and Sunday (May 7). PCH told FOX 2 it could not comment on the event beyond what is listed on its website. EstateSales.net says that prices for these goods will be marked 25% off tagged costs Saturday and 50% off tagged costs Sunday. Their website adds that some bulky items, like jewelry display cases, clothing racks, could also become available. FOX 2 reached out to one leasing director at Chesterfield Mall for comment, but has not yet heard back as of Thursday afternoon. ST. LOUIS - A federal grand jury indicted a St. Louis County man Thursday for allegedly robbing a convenience store at gunpoint earlier this year.Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Richard Barber, 51, used a gun to rob a Gas Mart in north St. Louis on Feb. 11, 2023.According to court documents, Barber walked into the store, took beer from a fridge, and then pulled a pistol on the clerk before ordering the employee to empty the cash register.Two days later, Barber wrecked his car and police recovered a pistol resembling the one used in the robbery. Police also reviewed security footage from the store and connected Barber to the crime. The roof of two Carson businesses were damaged and debris was strewn around one area of the city Thursday amid powerful rainstorms, the latest to slam Southern California. Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving a Semi-Truck Resulted in One FatalityBUCKEYE, AZ (May 4, 2023) – Monday afternoon, police were dispatched to a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10.The incident happened on April 24th at around 5:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near milepost 103 and Hassayampa Road.According to the Arizona DPS, the collision involved seven vehicles including two semi-trucks where one of them continued to drive in a construction zone and caused a chain reaction.Furthermore, the investigation showed that one of the semi-truck was pulling a flatbed when it performed a jackknifing across the eastbound lanes.Unfortunately, the driver of the semi that continued through the construction zone was pronounced dead at the scene. 55-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash near Dobson Road and Southern AvenueMESA, AZ (May 4, 2023) – Friday evening, a hit-and-run crash near Dobson Road and Southern Avenue left a motorcyclist dead.The incident happened on April 28th, at around 8:30 p.m., near the intersection of Dobson Road and Southern Avenue.According to reports, a 55-year-old man was pushing his motorcycle across Dobson Road when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.Following the crash, the driver fled the scene on foot and deserted his vehicle in the area. Police are still investigating the identity and the whereabouts of the suspect.Emergency crews arrived shortly after and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.At this time, the identity of the rider has not yet been released.
